Bio

My name is Mr. Romero. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL (The actual city, not the suburbs, lol). I am a fan of all the Chicago sports teams, but I also support the local teams. Chicago will always be my hometown, but Arizona is my home now.  I attended the University of Arizona, where I received a bachelors degree in business management.  I worked in the business world for many years. After working in the business world for many years, I went back to school, enrolling at Utah State University to become a speech therapist, and eventually I completed my masters at Northern Arizona University, to become a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). I feel very fortunate to have found this new career, and I owe that to my wife, who is also an SLP.  I love helping children with their communication needs. Being an SLP is a very fulfilling.  As an SLP I could have chosen to work in a variety of settings: clinic based, hospital based, etc. however, I find the school setting to be very rewarding, and I love my interactions with the students. As I begin my eighth year at Cheatham, it is a good feeling to know that I am helping them to become better communicators, and providing them with the skills to achieve whatever goals they decide to pursue in their lives.
