Teacher Bio

Hello students & families!

My name is Kelsey Hoskins, and I am excited to be the 7th grade Social Studies and Science teacher this year!

A little bit about me:
​This is my 8th year teaching after receiving my B.S.Ed in History and Social Studies from Northern Arizona University. I am currently getting my M.Ed from Northern Arizona University as well (I love being a Lumberjack!). My passion for teaching stems from a love of learning. The best part about teaching is that I am always learning something new from my students! I am originally from New York state, but have lived in Arizona the majority of my life. I have a wonderful dog and lizard at home (both named after Harry Potter characters) and can most often be seen drinking coffee.

I love to read, and my favorite fictional universe is Harry Potter! I have read the books countless times, and own the books in multiple languages.
