Welcome students, parents and guardians! I am your new language arts teacher and I am eager to get you all motivated and back into learning! This year things will be a little different. For example, the assignments are all mandatory and required for all students to pass their courses. There are resources, activities, support opportunities, evaluation feedback/ reflection and emphasis on technology in each lesson!
We are going to take advantage of all the wonderful things you learned last year and build on those skills and past lessons together as a TEAM! If you feel overwhelmed, stressed or confused there are resources and support personnel available to assist. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding lessons, small groups, or anything else. I am happy to speak with you and clarify any confusion or concerns you or your family may have regarding the class. I am so excited to begin working with you! This year is going to be a little different than in the past, however it will still be effective, engaging and enlightening! Remember, we’re in this together and we will get through this time.
