Hello Panther Families,

Welcome to Ms. Davis’ for Math & Social Sciences! It is wonderful that you have chosen to attend Trailside Point! Our class will be hosting a new after-school club to Trailside Called The Rubik’s Cube Club. All are welcomed from 4-8th grades. I hope that scholars in 5th Grade will participate in this enriching, fun, exciting, problem-solving enhancing, social, and innovative activity for 21st Century Learners. Of course, the Rubik’s Cube is not new, but the rules of the game have changed and are a worthwhile experience.  The Rubik’s Cube will also be used in our Math Classes to build self-esteem, brain breaks, social interactions, and Accelerated Education that build mathematical concepts and real-world conceptual understanding. 

To help build a growth mindset and positive classroom environment, I would like for scholars to bring a 3×3 Rubik’s Cube to class every day!
