Teacher Bio

Welcome to 5th Grade!

My name is Teresa Lopez and I have been teaching for 18 years. I have taught 4th, 5th and 6th grades.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in Multicultural Multilingual Elementary Education and my Master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am native to Phoenix and the South Mountain area. I live in Laveen with my husband, four kids and our puppy Milo. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading, swimming, camping and creating chalkboard art. I enjoy all forms of music and learning new things.

I am excited to begin this new school year with you and your child!
