Teacher Bio

I was born in Columbus, Ohio.  I have taught for 30 years and have lived in Arizona for 23 years.  I received a BS Ed at Ohio Dominican University and a Master’s Degree from Grand Canyon University.  I have taught 3-6th grades and was also a Reading and Math Specialist.

I lived inside Grand Canyon National Park (yes there is a school in the park) for 6 years. I also lived in Page, AZ, if you google Lake Powell you will see all of the beautiful spots we lived so close to and loved.

I have a husband named Tom and 2 children.  My son Maddox is 18 and my daughter Grace is 15. We have 5 pets.  3 dogs:  Sancho, Sherlock, and Sweetie. 1 cat: Sheddy (she sheds A LOT).

I love Science, the Harry Potter book series, gardening, and traveling.
