Teacher Bio

Hello! My name is Maria Iñiguez. I’ve been a teacher for 6 years in Phoenix. Currently, I live with my significant other Andrew and our two dogs but I come from a big family. I attended Grand Canyon University from 2015-2020 where I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading. I have always loved working with kids. I have coached competitive gymnasts, ages 4-18, since I was 14. I still coach on my spare time when I am not at school. My favorite thing to teach in class is reading and my favorite thing to do is learn about all kinds of different topics! I have a passion for students and I cannot wait to work with you and your child. I am excited for this new journey together in Kindergarten!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es María Iñiguez. He sido profesora durante 6 años en Phoenix. Asistí a Grand Canyon University desde 2015-2020, donde completé una licenciatura en educación primaria y una maestría en lectura. Siempre me ha gustado trabajar con niños. He entrenado a gimnastas competitivas, de 4 a 18 años, desde que tenía 14 años. Todavía entreno en mi tiempo libre cuando no estoy en la escuela. ¡Lo que más me gusta enseñar en clase es la lectura y lo que más me gusta hacer es aprender sobre todo tipo de temas diferentes! Tengo una pasión por los estudiantes y no puedo esperar a trabajar con usted y su hijo/a. ¡Estoy emocionada por este nuevo viaje juntos en Kindergarten!
