Teacher Bio

Welcome to Ms. Heuertz’s  Kindergarten class! 

Hi! My name is Maya Heuertz, and I recently moved to Phoenix from Omaha, NE. (Born and raised around a bunch of cows!) I received  my Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, with an endorsement in English as a Second Language. This is my third year teaching, and I absolutely LOVE working with the younger kiddos.  I have 2 fur babies at home named Coco and Franklin, and am hoping to add a puppy soon.

I am so excited to be a Cheatham Cheetah!
