Counselor Bio
This is my fourth year at the Ranch, and I am EXCITED to be back!
I am passionate about being a school counselor and am passionate about being a mom. I have the gift of having nine incredible children, and an incredible husband. In my free time I am usually hanging out with them.
This past year I had the privilege of publishing my first two children’s book. I am super proud of this accomplishment, the books already being used in both homes and classrooms. I illustrated the book with my sixteen year old daughter. The books are called: “Be Different & Be Kind. A Story About Diversity” and “Hope. A Story About Anti-Racism.”
Before joining the Ranch TEAM I lived in Washington State, where I was a School Counselor for sixteen years. I have also been a School Counselor in the state of New Jersey, and have worked with kids in many different environments. I am a certified School Counselor and have been certified in AZ, WA, and NJ. I have a Masters Level Clinical Counseling Degree from Rutgers University, in the State of New Jersey. My undergraduate degree is from Trinity Western University in British Columbia Canada. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I am also a TBRI trained practitioner (Trust Based Relational Intervention), and have had a lot of additional training around trauma. Diversity and trauma are both professional and personal passions.
