Roger Ranch School Counseling Program
Thank you for your interest in exploring School Counseling for your child. It truly is a joy to be the Roger School Counselor!
My primary goal with all of the students I work with is to help them be more successful here at school. The support for each student is very different, depending on the need of the student. Students are seen in changing family groups, making better choices group, feeling management groups, focus skills groups, and many others. Students are primarily seen in a small group setting with 1-4 other students, although there are exceptions for this, and a small percentage are seen 1-1.
School counseling referrals can come from the classroom teacher (s), administration, parents, the student themselves, or other school support staff. Or some students are seen as part of their 504 or IEP program.
