Teacher Bio

I was born in Arizona & have lived here most of my life. I lived in California & Colorado too. My daughter (Island), my husband (Rob), & I like to travel to new places together. I love spending time with family & friends. Fun Fact: We will be adding a new family member soon, a pet hedgehog. We are excited to create new memories.

I attended Arizona State University and graduated with a Master’s degree in Education. I have worked in the Laveen School District for 3 years. The last few years I taught Preschool, but this year I am really happy to be teaching 1^st grade. I also have experience working in other grade levels such as junior high, high school, and college. My whole career has been rooted in Education because I truly enjoy working with students and helping them grow. In all my time in schools, I have discovered that learning is so much fun. I’m looking forward to learning with you. Welcome to 1st grade.
