Teacher Bio
Hello, I would like to share a little something about myself with you.
I have been teaching for 21 years in the Laveen School District. My favorite part has been the last six years teaching art here at M.C. Cash.
I finished my masters program in education, in curriculum and instruction, September of last year. I am almost done, I am excited to learn and grow and share my knowledge with my students.
I have a great family. They are my mom, my two sisters their husbands and my two nephews. My dad passed away 6 years ago. Both my parents instilled in us the value of education and worked hard so we could go to college. Our parents are German and we lived in Germany when I was little. Our parents taught us to speak German and English, so I am fluent in German. I love sharing this with the students here at Laveen, because so many of them are bilingual too. My mom and one of my sisters lives here in Phoenix with her husband and two boys. My oldest sister and her husband are living in Thailand going on eight years now.
I have a handsome dog named Henry.I love to travel, especially to Switzerland! I love reading mysteries! I take ceramic classes at the Phoenix Center for the Arts. I love making dogs and vases.
Cheers!
