Teacher Bio

Hello!

My name is Mr. Haver. I am fresh out of college and fresh in from Ohio. I went to high school at a school called Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (go Royals) in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and I graduated from The University of Akron (go Zips) with a degree in AYA Education – Physics/Biology.  I did all of my student teaching in AP Physics, so 7th grade is a bit of a change for me. We’ll all have plenty of fun though.

I was the head coach of my Alma Mater’s boys middle school soccer team for six years, as well as assisting with the high school teams during those years. With that being said, I’m pretty passionate about soccer. I’m also passionate about science (physics most of all) and music. I listen to a lot of pop-punk, soft rock, and metal. I listen to a little bit of rap, country, electronic, pop, ska, and reggae. I will always be open to a conversation about music of any type.

I am very much looking forward to teaching here at Cheatham Elementary (go Cheetahs) and getting to know all of my students and their parents!
