Teacher Bio

Hello Everyone!

My name is Eric Woods and I will be your 8th Grade Science and Social Studies teacher. I have always had a passion for teaching and cannot wait to get to know each and every one of you! I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and moved to Arizona before college and went to the University of Arizona. I am currently enrolled at GCU to obtain my Master’s Degree as well. I am a huge sports fans and follow all my Pittsburgh teams: Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers. I am also a die hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan. When I am not watching sports in my free time, I like to hang out with friends, spend time outside, or sing and play the piano. I have always had a passion for music as well, and I am sure we will find some common interests this year. I am highly competitive and would like to see my classroom be the absolute best! I cannot wait to get started!
