No school on Monday, Sept 5 for Labor Day!

This Monday, August 8th is the first day of school!

I hope to see you all on Thursday, August 4th between 5 and 7pm for “Meet the Teacher” night!

Sorry for the internet outage this morning.  You may go ahead and test on your own with the login information provided.  You do not need me to initiate the test.

ELA will be moved back to 10:30 today, like it was Monday and Tuesday.

Tuesday 12/8:  Reading @ 9:00

Wednesday 12/9:  Math @ 10:30

Thursday 12/10:  Fluency @ 9:00

Our “ealy dismissal” schedule:

7:30 – Spalding

9:00 – ELA

10:30 – Math

Students are to just attend and participate in the live lesson (Direct Instruction) and work on the rest after lunch time, just as before.

There is no school on Wednesday, due to the Veteran’s Day holiday.

I didn’t post “Weekend Readers” last Friday because I really want everyone utilizing our websites that provide plenty of reading variety – both by topics and by levels:

These are sites that keep track of your child’s reading and offer thousands of texts for them to enjoy.  If you need any help logging them in, please let me know!

And don’t forget espark for math as well!

So on weekends and on Wednesday, if you’d like to have your child doing something academically productive, have them on these sites for about 20 minutes at a time.  You could have them working on each, if you spread it out throughout the day.
