Teacher Bio

Hello!

My name is Ms. Vanegas. I have been with the Laveen School District since 2016! I started off as an IA for 2 years. I student taught in a 3rd grade classroom and I took over a 4th grade classroom. I started my first year teaching in 2019 at Paseo Pointe. I was there for 3 years and this is my first year teaching 7th grade at Cheatham! I am excited for this new adventure and I can’t wait to work with you and student this year.

I graduated from Northern Arizona University in December 2018! I got my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a certificate in Early Childhood. I started my first teaching position in fourth grade in 2019 and taught half the year.
