All About Me!

Hello friends!  My name is Ms. Atkins.  I am so excited to join the Trailside Point family and teach kindergarten this year!  Before coming to Trailside, I taught first grade for four years.  I also taught preschool for two years.  I absolutely love teaching and working with kids!

I have lived in Arizona for four years.  I moved here from Hanover, Pennsylvania in 2016.  I am the middle child of three.  My older sister’s name is Tiffany and my younger brother’s name is Joshua.  Outside of teaching, I enjoy of watching movies, listening to music, reading, and playing video games. My Arizona family consists of my five kitties: Gabriel, Athena, Willow, Kiko, and Little Dude as well as Max, my guinea pig.

In our classroom we are a family.  Throughout this year, we will learn and grow together.  We will have fun, be silly, and find a love of learning.  I hope you are as excited to go on this rockin’ journey as I am!
