Classroom Updates

Hello parents/families/guardians!

Please make sure your student has headphones WITH A MICROPHONE by Friday in order to take the Reading Fluency test. It is very important they have a microphone. If you do not have any, you can pick some up from the school during open hours. Thank you!

A few reminders and information about the testing tomorrow:

-On TUESDAY students will be taking the Reading test and WEDNESDAY they will take the math test

-Your student needs to be logged on at 8:00 am each day. They will access the test and the Google Meets through the ELA Google Classroom.

-Please help your child to be online on time tomorrow. They may need help navigating the website in order to log on.

-Make sure chrome books are completely CHARGED!!!

-IMPORTANT: If your student has not already turned off their computer and turned it back on, please do so!! Hold down the power button until the screen turns black.

I am so excited for class to officially get started tomorrow morning.

Steps to logging on to class:

1. Go to Google Classroom. It can be reached many different ways but you can get to it by typing in google.classroom.com
2. Click on the ELA class (If they are not already entered please accept the invites to join the classes)
3. Go to the “Classwork” tab that is listed on the top of the page
4. Go to the title “Wednesday 8/5” and click on “Live Lesson: Wednesday 8/5”
5. Please open up the Google Meets link by 8:00am.

**This will not be visible until 7:45 on the day of the lesson**
