Teacher Bio

My name is Andrea Slim and I will be the 8th grade science teacher. I am originally from New Mexico but grew up in Northern Arizona. I received my Bachelor’s in Education from Northern Arizona University.  This will be my seventh year teaching and my fifth year with the Laveen District.

When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy watching sports from college to professional, fishing, traveling, spending time with family and friends and watching movies, new and old. I’m excited to be at Desert Meadows and can’t wait to get to know each student.
