Teacher Bio

I grew up here in Laveen, but when I was growing up, there were lots of fields and a cotton gin! At that time there were only two elementary schools here, so I was a Laveen Hawk! But, if Rogers Ranch was here when I was a child, that is where I would have attended.

Since I grew up in Laveen, I also went to Cesar Chavez for high school. Things have changed a lot around here from when I was a child!

I started off college at Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, AZ, and finished my associates degree at Phoenix College. I went to school to be a teacher at Grand Canyon University.

I have only ever had three jobs!  I was a respite care provider when I was first married. Then, I became an Instructional Associate at Rogers Ranch in 2016. Working in a school just furthered my desire to become a teacher! This is my second year teaching 2nd Grade.

My husband and I have 3 children, two girls and one baby boy. We also have a dog, who is very active! We love to hike as a family, as well as play ultimate frisbee and watch movies. When we have family movie nights, we always have popcorn and m&m’s.

I love the color blue, mint-chocolate, office supplies, and Harry Potter!
