Teacher Bio

Hi my name is Audrey Padilla. I am a kindergarten teacher at Vista del Sur. I am entering my 14th year of teaching! I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. I also received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading from Grand Canyon University. I started my teaching career as a preschool teacher then moved up to be a kindergarten teacher, in between I have taught summer school, tutoring, online English classes and even a coach for first year teachers.

I love setting a strong foundation of learning in young students. All students have the right to a great education with high expectations. I am so excited for this school year!

I am also a mom to 3 great kids who keep my super busy. I love being a mom and spending time with my family.
