Teacher Bio

¡Bienvenidos!

I am so excited to be your child’s first grade teacher. In my class, your child is cared about! I value their ideas, thoughts, and actions. They have unique talents, strengths and will bring so much diversity to our class. It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries.

My name is Taniamaría Valles and an Arizona State University graduate. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and dancing. During my free time, I like to spend as much quality time with my 6 year old daughter, even if it means chasing her around at the water park, in 110° weather! Also, I am extremely passionate about the Spanish speaking cultures around the world. Therefore, my ultimate goal is to teach my students about the amazing opportunities speaking another language has.
