Teacher Bio
My name is Trent Herring-Harman, this is my FIRST year here at Rogers Ranch School. However, I have been teaching for 9.5 years. I previously taught in Indiana serving grades 1-4. When I moved to Arizona, I taught 6th grade and thoroughly enjoyed the age group. Although, I do love teaching all the students in any grade level.
I graduated from Ball State University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Education. I also obtained my Masters in Education (Educating Multilingual Learners) in 2021 from Arizona State University.
With my spare time at home, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy spending time at the pool when possible as well as hiking. I am a Green Bay Packers fan and love watching football in the fall and winter. When I am able, I enjoy a nice tennis match at the local courts.
While at work, I love building relationship with my students to understand their journey in learning more. Collaboration is a large part of my classroom and I enjoy hearing the perspectives of the students in my room. Together, we are learning and growing to become better people and students.
Each year, I challenge myself to learn something new, better my understanding, and provide a journey of learning for my students.
