Wild- K-8 Art Curriculum

  • Kindergarten- 3rd Grade will explore the fundamentals of Art before engaging in exploratory projects based around famous artists, cultural components, and historical examples.
  • 4th-8th Grade will develop artistic skills and perspectives further, so that they can investigate various artistic works throughout time and space, and communicate their ideas through various forms of the creative processes.
  • 6th-8th Grade students will also be implementing the Middle Years International Baccalaureate Program into their studies while participating in the Visual Arts program.

Earth Day 2024: Protect Our Species → Attempts to draw attention to the rapid extinction of species around the world, directly linked to human activities causing climate change, deforestation, and pollution.

Table Helpers:

Table Helpers

  • Basket Bearer- Circle: Grab and put away the art basket in the front of the classroom for table
  • Material Mate- Heart: Help teacher grab and put away any materials
  • Project Protector- Star: Grab and put away the tables folder’s (students work- if wet with paint or glue, it goes in the drying rack)
  • Cleaning Crew- Trapezoid: Help with clean up of table and classroom during class
