Teacher Bio

Hello! My name is Sherri Turnage and I am so excited to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher.  

I was raised in Glendale, Arizona where I attended school in the Glendale Elementary School District.  I have three kids of my own and ALL boys. My oldest son is going to be a sophomore in high school in the Deer Valley School District.  My middle son is going to be an 8^th grader in the Deer Valley School District as well, and my youngest will be attending kindergarten at our neighborhood school.

I graduated from Ottawa University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. This is my 4th year teaching.  I started my career at the Glendale Elementary School District in third grade, then went to second grade in hopes to “loop up” with my students, but instead found myself coaching Physical Education for a year. I am now back home in third grade and couldn’t be more excited!
