About Mr. Fraser

Hello-

My name is Mr. Scott Fraser and this will be my ninth year teaching elementary students. I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I graduated Holliston High School in 1986 (long time ago!) and joined the U.S. Navy shorty thereafter. Having been stationed throughout the country and traveling and exploring the world, I retired from the Navy in 2008 after 21 years of service. I have been living in Arizona since 2002. I am married with two grown (and amazing) children. Wait…they aren’t children anymore!

I am a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education/Elementary Education.

I taught in the Buckeye Elementary School District for five years before making the move to Laveen. I have taught sixth grade, fifth grade and have dabbled in eighth grade social studies.

I love teaching English Language Arts because I believe having good command of the English language is the pathway to great success.

I believe every student has the capacity to do great things.

I teach because every child needs help on their journey.

I hold myself accountable to being the best educator and role model for students.

I am honored to be your student’s teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. We have a lot to do and I can’t wait to get back inside the classroom and get started.
