Hello First Grade Families,
I want to welcome you and your child to first grade! In an effort to make this year a smooth transition, I have listed some key information below. If you still have questions and concerns, please do not hesitate to email me: msilva@laveeneld.org

Schedule:

| Math | 11:55-1:20 |
| Specials | 1:20-2:00 |
| Recess | 2:00-2:10 |
| Science | 2:10-3:00 |
| Social Studies | 3:00-3:30 |
- Early release ends at 12:30 p.m
Homework:
Reading homework will be sent home on Monday and due Friday. Homework is not meant to cause stress, rather it is to be used as a review and to give your child an opportunity to practice what they are learning at school.
What your child needs:
- Headphones
- Water bottle labeled with name
