All eligible students who made academic growth in their NWEA and AimsWeb Plus assessments were able to have fun at our school-wide snow party. Our administrators, Ms. Goodwin and Ms. Garcia were able to get “snow” for the students to play with their peers. The students were able to make and throw some snowballs, and go down a snow slide, and a few tried to make snow angels.

The incentive was based on criteria set by the Student Impact Committee and each grade-level team. As for our kindergarten students, they had to show a 25% growth in their RIT scores in math and reading. In addition, they also had to show at least at 10% average growth in their AimsWeb Plus reading foundational skills assessment.

Congratulations to all of those who made it to the Grow to Snow party!
