November Class of the Month
This last Thursday, December 1st, our class had a picnic as an incentive for being chosen as the Class of the Month by the Special area teachers. Thank you to all our Specials teachers namely, Mr. Epacs, Mr. Carroll, Ms. Kuster, Mr. Cox, and Mr. Patrick for recognizing these amazing kindergarteners. You have given them the first step and chance to prove to the world the fabulous things they can accomplish and the extent of all the greatness that they can ever achieve! To all my little geniuses, congratulations and I am so proud of each and every one of you!
Get to know the Letter Oo
This week we will be focusing our attention to the letter O. We will identify words that begin with the short /o/ sound and learn how to decode and write words with the short middle /o/ sound. I hope you will all come ready to share those words in class!
Arian Gamez, wins 2016 Turkey Trot Kinder Boys’ Division
Congratulations to our very own ARIAN GAMEZ who bagged the frozen turkey prize on our Turkey Trot last Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Arian ran the entire course with a one, non-stop dash. He showed his strength and determination until he reached the finish line. It was until 2 minutes into the race when Mr. Cox, our Technology Specials teacher, noticed our winner slow down. Mr. Cox urged and cheered him on and told him that he was near the end of the race and that he was about to win. Through his will power and Mr. Cox’s positive feedback, Arian made it and proved to everyone that even kindergarteners like him can show true physical athleticism! Arian, your classmates and I are very proud of you! Congratulations!!!
