Our class will start exploring numbers beyond 10 starting on Monday. Please help your child use different household counters (beans, cereal, rocks, cotton balls, lego pieces, etc.) to practice representing numbers 11-20. They will realize that counting is part of everyone’s daily tasks if you incorporate counting activities while cooking, shopping, driving, brushing teeth, combing hair, etc. Thank you for your support and help to get your child meet or exceed his Kindergarten big goal of identifying numbers 0-20 in random order! Let’s count together, 1, 2,…3!
Classroom Updates
The Incredible Letter Ii!
Next week’s letter of the week is the Letter Ii. It is important to include the letter Ii in your activities. It’s not impossible for your child to increase his/her reading skills if you do so. Interesting!
