Meet the teacher

Hello everyone,

My name is Mr. Matt Lee.

I am one of the physical education teachers here at M.C. Cash, and I am so excited to be here to work with our wonderful students! I moved to Laveen from Tuba City, Arizona, which is located in northern Arizona on the Navajo Reservation, where I taught physical education and coached athletics for the 6 years. Before moving to Arizona I lived and went to school in New York State where I finished my undergraduate and graduate work at The State University of New York, College at Brockport.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, hiking, river rafting, golfing, reading, basketball, racquetball and going to the gym. I love to explore the outdoors and to be active around the community. You may also find me officiating basketball around the city.

I am looking forward to meeting all my new students and families this year at M.C. Cash. Go Road Runners!!
