Teacher Bio

Hello! I was born and raised in the great state of Michigan. I moved to Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University (Go ‘Lopes!) and have been here in the Phoenix area for almost seven years. My degree is in Elementary Education and this will be my sixth year here at Laveen. I taught third grade for two years, fourth grade for one year, and fifth grade for two years. I am excited to continue to watch my grow as people and students! In my spare time I enjoy staying active with various sports, hiking, etc. I also enjoy reading, relaxing, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Here are some of favorite things:
Baseball, Football, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, the color Green, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Pistons, Iced Coffee, and Skittles.
