Teacher Bio
Here you get to find all about my wild life!
I am an Arizona Native born and raised in Chandler. My husband and I moved to Laveen in 2021 and welcomed our daughter in 2022. We have two rescue Labrador Retrievers named Moose and Bear. Together we love to swim, get outdoors, and our goal is to visit all the AZA Zoos/Aquariums in the country.
I have always been a lover of all things animals with an extra special place in my heart for horses. After high school I held an internship in Equine Reproduction where I was able to work on a team that delivered 63 foals in one year. I then graduated from Arizona State University in Biology: Conservation Biology and Ecology. GO SUN DEVILS! I have since worked for Arizona Game and Fish in the Sonoran Pronghorn department, Phoenix Zoo and Odysea Aquarium. My life shifted in 2020 when I became a paraeducator for visually impaired students. There I began my journey of learning to read and write in braille. After moving to Laveen I joined the district by becoming the Certified Tutor at Vista del Sur Accelerated Academy.
I am overjoyed to begin my teaching career here at EFGA and share my passion for science with all of you scientists!
