Welcome to 3rd GRADE!

Hello!  My name is Mrs. McBride and I am so excited to be your teacher this year!  We are going to have a lot of fun in 3rd Grade.  This school year is going to be very exciting and busy as we learn and grow together.  Also, I can’t wait to get to know you.

I have been teaching at M.C. Cash for 5 years now and I love being a 3rd-grade teacher.  Although I am new to Cash I am not new to teaching. This is my 17th year teaching and my 3rd year teaching 3rd grade. When I was your age, I always wanted to become a teacher to work with a variety of students.  We are going to spend a lot of time strengthening our reading, writing and math skills so that you become a super successful 3rd grader!  Also, we will become scientists and explorers with our science and social studies lessons. This year is going to be an adventure.  I hope you are just as excited as I am to begin the school year.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I look forward to working with you as your child learns something new every day. Thank you to all of you who donated materials to the classroom. There was a wonderful showing of parent support on Back to School night as most of you were able to attend with your child. I enjoyed meeting you and your families.
