Read Across America Week for Vista will be March 4th through 8th. The themes this year are Dr. Seuss and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
From Monday through Friday, students found reading at school outside of class time will have a chance to win a Golden Ticket, which can then be redeemed for a prize of a free book or a voucher from Peter Piper Pizza. On Monday, March 4, students may dress down in Seuss spirit. Choose one of these themes: Oh, The Places You’ll Go (wear a shirt that shows a place you have been or would like to go) or The Lorax (wear green for the trees). On Friday, March 8, students may dress to represent a book, book character, or author!
On Friday, we will celebrate with reading activities in the library and classrooms.
