Dollar Dress Down- September 4

I would just like to review our Dollar Dress Down procedures. Students are allowed to dress down for a dollar on Dollar Dress Down Days. They are allowed to wear jeans but they still to follow dress code for example:

-no short skirts or dresses,
-no spaghetti straps,
-no exposed midriff,
-any print or graphics on clothing must be school appropriate,
-no undergarments may show
-no ripped clothing
If your student is out of dress code, they will be asked to call home per school policy.

End of the Year Galileo Testing, May 6-9, 2019:
Monday: Galileo Post ELA (2-8)
Tuesday: Galileo Post Math (1-8)
Thursday: Galileo Post Science (1-8)

4th Quarter Galileo Raffle: End of year 4th quarter Galileo testing is fast approaching.  We would like to incentivize students by raffling off prizes.  A raffle ticket can be earned by each student for entry into the raffle.  Parents and families – this is how you can help: Sign up to donate new items that fall within the following categories: sports equipment, art supplies, school supplies, board games/card games, $5 gift cards to local businesses. https://signup.com/client/invitation2/secure/2788793/false#/invitation

Fun Run- May 10

Third Annual Vista del Sur Fun Run:
Who: Vista Students and Staff
What: Run to raise money for OUR SCHOOL!
When: Friday, May 10, 21019, during specials
Where: Vista Gym
Why: To support our staff by raising funds for our school
How: Vista Students will run as many laps as possible during a set amount of time. Top 5 students at each grade level with the most laps completed will race in a final competition…AGAINST VISTA STAFF! Students and staff will obtain sponsor donations either based on how many laps they completed, or a flat donation. Donations can be made online: squareup.com/store/vistaonlinestore. We want everyone to come out and make this event as successful as last year! If you still need volunteer hours this is a great opportunity!
