Please keep dress code in mind. Thank you for your participation. We hope to make this a fun and memorable event for our students.

NAEP Testing-February 7

We are pleased to announce that our Vista Del Sur 4th graders have been selected to represent schools from across the nation by participating in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).  Our participation in this assessment is exciting because results provide a common measure of student achievement across the country!  We KNOW our Vista students will show them everything they know! The results of NAEP are released as The Nation’s Report Card, which provides information about student achievement to educators, parents, policymakers, and the public.

The NAEP Assessment will take place in 4th grade classrooms on February 7, 2017.  Students have been randomly selected by the US Department of Education to take a reading or math assessment approximately 90 minutes in length.  As with all testing, please encourage your 4th graders success by ensuring they get a good night’s rest and have a healthy breakfast that morning!
