White Ribbon Week- March 21-24

Tigers are Digital Citizens! We are celebrating White Ribbon Week the week of March 20-21, making sure we are conscious of what we do and see online.

Monday each student will receive a “Here’s the Scoop on Digital Citizenship” contract. Please read over it with your student and have him/her sign it. Everyone who brings it back on Tuesday will receive a FREE Kid’s Cone from Scooptacular! Students will celebrate White Ribbon Week the rest of the week with the following themes:

Tuesday – Wear a white headband or a silly hat to remind us to train our brains to think vs. feel.

Wednesday – Wear spirit shirts because Tigers are PAWS-itively proud about how we look and feel!

Thursday – Wear funky glasses or sunglasses to focus on what’s real, not what can be exaggerated or falsely portrayed online.

Friday – Wear 70s clothes to remind us to say, “Peace out” to peer pressure as we maintain our safety standards outside the home.

On Thursday, March 2, students may wear a college t-shirt with uniform bottoms.
