Hello Parents,
We hope this post finds everyone well and that everyone is staying healthy.
It was amazing seeing so many of you during our parade on Friday! It made our day! We definitely miss everyone so much.
We will be having Digital Spirit Week starting tomorrow! Please see this picture for details:
Don’t forget that our special areas teachers have created a Hyperdoc with fun activities for your child to participate in. You can find it in our Google Classroom or here.
Updates Regarding Google Classroom:
Now that most of our families are on Google Classroom, we are going to be making some changes beginning tomorrow (Monday), March 30. Bell Work will stay the same.
1. We will be organizing our lessons by week instead of by English and Spanish. See picture below:
When you click on this, you will see a new lesson each day this week.
2. We are now going to be only assigning one lesson/subject a day in addition to bell work. Here is what the week will look like:
Monday– Reading + Bell Work
Tuesday– Writing + Bell Work
Wednesday– Math + Bell Work
Thursday– Social Studies + Bell Work
Friday– Science + Bell Work
3. All assignments will be due on Sundays. We will then grade the assignments.
4. If you would like your child to have additional practice, you can find this in the One Stop for Resources folder. This folder contains our OPR videos, our Symbaloo page, and much more. We will be continuing to add activities to this folder as well. None of these activities will be graded- they are just for extra practice.
Symbaloo has links to websites that your child can go to and practice other skills, such as Starfall and ABCya.
