September 24, 2017
Ram Sweatshirts:
Last day to order Ram Sweaters is on Sep. 29th. Please turn in orders to Ms. Brown or the front office.

Galileo Quarter 1 Testing:
Quarter one testing will be the week of Oct. 2nd.
 
Gum Chewing:
Students have been warned against chewing gum in class. Our carpet has been ruined with multiple gum stains etc. If any students are caught with gum, the consequence will be more than a warning.
 
Missing Assignments:
There are a few students who have missing assignments from this week. Please ask your child if they are one of the few students who have missing assignments.
Google Classroom:
Some of the assignments students might be missing can be found on google classroom. Here are the steps on how to sign in:
2.Make sure no one is logged in Google, so Manuel can log in with his username and password (he should know it).
3. He will need the google classroom class code: j9fmsl
Homework:
Just a reminder that students’ homework consists of: a weekly reading log and any unfinished assignments from the day. Reading logs are due at the end of the week. Many students are still not turning in their reading logs on Friday.
Scooptacular:
If students want to buy Scooptacular ice cream, they can do that every Tuesday for $2.00.
Lunch Application:
If you have not filled out a lunch application form for your child(ren) please do so. Even if you are certain that your child(ren) do not qualilfy for free or reduced lunch prices, filling out an application is beneficial to our school. Go to www.ezmealapp.com to fill out online.
Donorschoose.org: 
Share our classrooom donorschoose project request.
Headphones and Mice:
If students would like to bring in their own sets of headphones and a mouse to use with their chromebook they may do so. It is their responsibility to take care of these items.

If you have not linked your Fry’s VIP card to our school, Paseo Pointe, please consider doing. This is an easy way for our school to get money. 
 
Tax Credit:

Progress Reports:
Progress reports were sent home on Friday. Please review, sign, and return the progress report. Once I check that progress reports were signed, I will return them to you with your child.

Box Tops:
The first Box Tops contest of the year will be over on Sep. 15th. Send in those Box Tops!

Week of Sep. 4th

September 3, 2017
No School:
Monday, Sept. 4th Labor Day.
Sun Devil Football:
Because our class had perfect attendance for all three days of Galileo testing, students where given a voucher to redeem for four tickets to a Sun Devil vs. San Diego Aztecs football game on Sep. 9th. Please read the voucher in order to get the four tickets.
Go Sun Devils!
Half Day Wednesday:
Wednesday, Sep. 6 will be our first half-day Wednesday. Students get out at 11:30 a.m.
Peter Piper Pizza Dine Out:
Will be on Wednesday, Sep. 6th from 4-7 p.m. Don’t forget to show the flier or mention our school when you place your order. 15% of all food, beverage, and token sales will benefit our school.

August 31, 2017
Curriculum Night:
Will be tomorrow, from 5-7 p.m. This is a great opportunity to go through the different math, reading, and science resources that your child will use in class. There will be other information shared on this night as well. 
 
Scholastic Book Order:
If students and family members would like to purchase books from their Scholastic book orders, the money and order form is due this Thursday. 
 
Galileo Testing:
