About Our Classroom

I chose to incorporate plants into my classroom theme because research shows that greenery reduces stress and anxiety. It also increases memory, focus, and attention span. In addition to these positive features, I like having a calming and comforting environment for my students to learn in free from clutter.
In my classroom, there is an inquiry wall that students are able to add to as we research different countries around the world. I’m excited to virtually travel to places around the world with my students this year. 🙂

Mark Your Calendar: Meet the Teacher Night 8/3/23

Hello Families,

I would like to invite you to Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday, August 3rd from 5:00-7:00 p.m. You and your child will be able to see who is their class, where their desk is, and be able to meet me and ask questions you may have about the year ahead. I am looking forward to seeing all of you! Hope you can come this Thursday! 🙂
