Mark your calendar! Picture day will be Thursday September 22, 2016.  The time we will begin our pictures have not been assigned, I will let you know as soon as I know.  Students will be able to “dress up” on this day.

Today you will receive a progress report for your child.  Please sign and return it to school before on on Friday September 9th.  If you have any comments or concerns feel free to contact me.

Un-Homework: (Beginning the 2nd week of school) Each week, students have a paper with 5 choices on it. For each choice they complete, students can fill out a Learning Lotto raffle ticket. Every Monday, raffle tickets are entered into a drawing. The winners get to roll a die for a prize. The odds of winning are upped when you complete more choices and submit more tickets.

Reminder, First day of school is Monday 8/8/2016.

We will have the opportunity to go on a garden tour, pick produce, learn about how corn grows and what it is used for, journey through a corn maze, take a train ride, interact with farm animals, and enjoy an ice cream treat. The cost is $10.00 per child.
