Teacher Bio

I am so excited to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fantastic year full of learning and exploring. I want to know all about you, but first here are a few things about me.
I was born and raised in South Phoenix. I went to Brook’s Academy Elementary School from Kinder-8th Grade, South Mountain from 9th-12th grade, South Mountain Community College for my Associates in Elementary Education, and Northern Arizona University for my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. This will be my second year teaching.
I am married to a wonderful man, Mr. Olivas, who is an underground constructor. We love being silly together. We have a dog whos name is Waldo, my husband named him after the book “Where’s Waldo?” Maybe we can read it together one day?
