Teacher Bio

Introduction

My name is Frank Pinto and I am originally from Los Angeles, CA.  I have earned a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters degree in Education with an emphasis in Cross-Categorical Special Education.  This is my 16th year of teaching Special Education Elementary Education, and Dual Language Instructional settings in Arizona and I also have an additional 3 years of teaching in California.  I have enjoyed moving to Arizona in 2006 and have made Arizona my permanent place of residency.  I travel to Los Angeles several times during the year to visit my favorite places to eat and visit my family.  I have an 10  year old boy who is eager to explore new things around him.  He has been an awesome boy! Previous to teaching, I worked in early childhood advocacy programs such as First Things First, and several other non-profit organizations.  I have enjoyed working in Arizona’s schools and have met many teachers who are dedicated in teaching children to become successful students.
