Teacher Bio

Hello! I’m Mr. Evan Hoylman and this is my third year teaching music at Cheatham Elementary School in Laveen. I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Phoenix from Lincoln, Nebraska last summer. I finished my Bachelors of Music in Education degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the spring of 2019. I play the flute and piano and have performed in the UNL Wind Ensemble, Varsity Chorus, and the Cornhusker Marching Band. I’m very excited to continue building the music program at Cheatham and I know that we’re going to have another great year!

When I’m not teaching, practicing, or planning lessons, I enjoy singing, playing piano, watching Youtube, playing with my dog, and building with my LEGO set.
