Teacher Bio

I was born in Washington State and moved to Illinois when I was 7 years old where I spent the next 20 years of my life.  I graduated from Northern Illinois University with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education in May 2019. I then taught 2nd grade in Illinois for 2 years before packing up my life and moving to Arizona in June 2021.  Last year I taught 1st grade in a close by district but am so excited to be back in 2nd grade at my new home, EFGA, as a Scorpion.

I have no children of my own, but do have 1 fur baby named Wrigley, who is my world.

I also have a fish tank with Glo fish that is housed in our classroom!
