Teacher Bio

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio in 2008 certifying me to teach high school social studies. Life brought me to Arizona shortly after and I worked as a nanny for several years. I always knew I wanted to get back into a school setting and felt drawn to looking into special education. I attended Arizona State University and received a masters in special education in December 2013. I have worked as a resource teacher since then and have been at Cheatham since 2017. My husband and I live in Laveen with our young children and I enjoy working here and servicing our community.
