Updated Retake Procedure

The retake procedure will now include the following requirements:

● Students may only retake academic quizzes or assessments that receive a grade below 80%.

○ Assessments or quizzes with scores of 80% and above will not be available for retakes.

● Students may only retake an individual assignment one time.

○ Multiple opportunities for retakes on the same assessment/quiz will not be available.

By implementing these defined guidelines, teachers will be able to work more closely with individual students who will benefit from a reteach of specific concepts. The relearn, redo, and replace intention of the retake procedure will focus on understanding and mastery of standards, rather than focusing on the letter grade received.
