Teacher Bio

Welcome to Desert Meadows School. My name is Ms. Angelita E. Munoz, “Angie”. I’m a native Arizonan from the mining town of Superior.  I attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Years later, I graduated with a Master of Arts degree from Northern Arizona University in Educational Leadership.

I’ve taught every grade with the exception of second grade. Additionally, I spent a year working in a high school. I have many years of teaching experience.  In this new millennium, our students are the beneficiaries of the innovations in the technological era. We are so fortunate to have so much technology available for both student and teachers. It is impressive!

Every year is a new challenge with sleeves rolled up high. It is rewarding to see the academic and social progress of the students as we tackle the 4^th curriculum. Every year, collectively, we climb and conquer the Mt. Everest curriculum with a strategic plan of instruction and tutorials. Our Desert Meadows Bobcats are the best!
