Teacher Bio

Hi, I am the K-8 music teacher at Laveen Elementary School.  I graduated from the University of Nebraska Kearney with a Bachelor’s in K-12 Music Education.  Then I taught 5-12 band and choir for 3 years in a very small school in Shickley, Nebraska.  I taught band at Laveen and Cheatham Elementary for a year before moving to my current position.

I am excited to continue my journey here in the Laveen Elementary School District. I will be teaching K-8 general music along with several other classes such as Yearbook, Board Game Skills, Piano, and Advisory.  I grew up playing alto saxophone, but also took lessons in college on percussion, piano, and trombone.
